Sustainable Enterprise and Environment Development Working Awareness Centre (SEEWAC) Nepal” has been legally registered in 2063 B.S in District Administration Office Kailali as a non-profit making, non-religious, non-political, non-governmental and equal opportunity provider organization with the registration number(971/063/064). It has been affiliated in Social Welfare Council (SWC) and NGO federation.

group of energetic development practitioners, rights workers, gender activists and professional trainers. Founded in 2063, SEEWAC/Nepal is dedicated to the cause of socio- economic empowerment of the children, young and adolescents, women, dalit, indigenous communities, minorities, disadvantaged, excluded and socio-economically marginalized communities. SEEWAC/Nepal believes that development starts with people; hence is focused on the improvement in the overall quality of their lives. It focuses on the poor and marginalized people and endeavours to support the communities through the provision of sustainable livelihood assets and by resilient building, reducing vulnerability and empowering for the realisation of universal human rights. Besides this, SEEWAC/Nepal is focused on health related activities, institutional development of the different self-help groups and development organization, infrastructure development and addresses other contemporary development issues.

Sudurpaschim Province is the least development province compared to other part of the country. The current major problem of the Sudurpaschim is mass poverty, gender disparity and cast discrimination, lack of health facilities, illiteracy, unemployment, high levels of male migration to India. Lack of basic infrastructures and present political instability is also in more severe than other development region of the country. So, SEEWAC/Nepal focuses to the poor and marginalized people residing in the rural areas of the far and mid western region of the country. The prime aim of SEEWAC Nepal is to contribute in innovative development and resource mobilization. Moreover, the organization is committed to create social justice and social transformation for socio-economic development of disadvantaged and marginalized people of the country.

The organization is working with primary focus on Micro Enterprise Creation and Development and overall development of the country acting as a helping hand of the government initiatives.

 

 

VISION

SEEWAC-Nepal is community-based organization focusing on the deprived and marginalized people especially the women, children, dalits, ethnic, indigenous, differently able and poor people of remote areas. For the betterment of the focused community, our existence in well functional stage is required. So for the coming days our vision will be as follows:

MISSION

To improving economic and social prosperity (Health, education, harmonized) of suppressed and marginalized people especially women, children, Dalits, Indigenous, Janajati, minorities, Madeshi, Muslim, third gender, youth and disabled.

 

 

GOAL

“Assist in social, economic, political and cultural development of the nation through eliminating and avoiding the long inherited discriminatory practices and social evils against women, children, dalits, indigenous and deprived group of the society”.

 

 

NORMS & VALUES

The cultural norms in an organization are the behavior patterns that are typically seen. The SEEWAC-Nepal Members formed So the following are our shared values and beliefs that we adopt in behavior:

  • Social harmony: The Social harmony of Nepal is the best example of all over the world. So, we have “zero” tolerance in the situation of disturbance of social harmony and we will not join hand to work with such organizations and individuals.
  • Impartiality: We behave equally to all. So, our actions are not politically motivated and influenced.
  • All Equal: We trust and behave that “every person in community is equally supreme and equally respected”
  • Transparency: We maintain transparency in our resource use and service delivery. We have “zero” tolerance in fraud and corruption.
  • Code of conducts: We highly value and adopt in practice the Code Of Conducts (COC) of SEEWAC-Nepal
  • Full effort for GON vision: We, fully, do our best effort to fulfill the vision of Nepal government “Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepali”
  • Child Protection: SEEWAC-Nepal never compromises the violence against children and works to prevent and respond to child abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence that affects to children.
  • GESI Sensitive: We never accept the issues of gender violence andintegrated the GESI issues at all the project interventions as cross cutting issues.
  • Partnership: Partnership Development to achieve the common goal.
  • SDG Centered: All the development interventions that SEEWAC-Nepal supports will be integrated with SDG

 

 

OBJECTIVES OF ORGANIZATION

The Main development objective of the SEEWAC-Nepal is to contribute for the creation of employment for the youth and poor through the development of farm and off-farm based enterprises creation and development including child protection and development of economic and social prosperity, social discrimination and poverty reduction of the rural people of the country however, the specific objectives are;

  • With the support of local, provincial and central government, facilitate for the promotion of productions for the economic prosperity of the people. For this the focus will be done for the promotion of high value crops which are able to substitute import, increase export and create employment.
  • Focus on the development of entrepreneurial skill of the community Advocacy for the remedy of all kind of exploitation and discriminations.
  • All time active for the welfare of women, Dalit, minorities and backward people and children.
  • Work as a helping hand of local, provincial and central government for social prosperity of the people
  • All the development initiatives supported by SEEWAC/Nepal will be environment friendly and focusingon the improvement of climate.
  • Work on monitoring & evaluation, baseline and end line survey and study and research for the government and non-government organizations.

 

 

 

STRATEGY OF ORGANIZATION

  • SEEWAC Nepal is woman lead organization from starting to till.
  • Organization has clear strategy and policy about needs of woman, girls and youths in constitution of organization.
  • SEEWAC Nepal has clearly defined about needs of woman, girls and youths in GESI and child protection policy.
  • Our organization has cover equal or more than 90% woman, girls and youth, it was clearly shown in annual progress report of SEEWAC Nepal.
  • Our organization works with close coordination of LG.
  • SEEWAC Nepal has support in necessary needs.
